Metropolis Architecture is a progressive architecture and design consultancy network, providing a high quality design and ecology driven service for our clients. Our approach is to be client focused, and bring the very best team of construction professionals to each project to achieve our target of producing energy efficient quality design solutions which have a value beyond the physical built fabric. Our designs look at the wider impact on the environment, the urban grain of their setting, as well as on the quality of life for the people that live, work and experience them.
Mark Guyatt established Circa Design Associates Ltd, as a compact client focused architecture and design consultancy in 1997, after many years as a senior freelance project architect for leading large Midlands architectural practices.
With the advance of technology the practice was established as a remote service provider to other architectural practices, and still maintains a flexible working relationship with other professionals. The client base has grown from supporting other architects to a wide and diverse range of projects.
The company re-branded as Metropolis Architecture Ltd in 2000.
We have experience in many different building types and sectors, as well as procurement methods. Our aim is to provide a holistic approach for our clients, bringing all parties of the development process together, to produce better quality buildings in the most cost and time effective manner. We have worked in the following sectors: residential, healthcare, ecclesiastical, commercial, education, conservation and distribution.
With our sister company Wedrawfast, we also offer a world class computer modelling, rendering, and animation service. This enables designers and clients to see their design and realize their vision. From 2D digital drawings a 3D model is formed and developed with the clients approval at each major stage through to final rendering, montage and Photoshop work.
Metropolis Architecture has also been instrumental in the establishing of The Garden Escape brand. These are simple, contemporary garden structures aimed primarily at the residential market. They have a variety of domestic uses and are proving popular with the growing trend of home working.
